Piece by Piece - Maryn’s Senior Recital - January 2025
As a Senior at Belmont University, Maryn wrote, directed, choreographed, and designed a 55 minute production. This production included a character study of Genevieve from Stephen Schwartz’s The Baker’s Wife, selections of Richard Rodgers’ works, and a cabaret full of Disney, Kander & Ebb, Frank Wildhorn, and Mama Cass.
Maryn, along with a cast and band, then performed it for an audience as a part of her graduation requirement. This project was so fulfilling and special. Check out clips from her recital under “media”!
Shaina Taub’s Twelfth Night - November 2024
Maryn is so excited to be kicking off her senior year by playing Maria in Shaina Taub’s Twelfth Night! This tropical twist on the Shakespearean classic will take place on Belmont University’s Troutt Stage in November of 2024.
Starting Here, Starting Now - February 2024
Maryn is so excited to take on this new adaptation of Maltby & Shire’s Starting Here, Starting Now. Directed by Casey Hebbel and Music Directed by Nate Strasser, this musical was given new life by being set in a 1970s dating show! Disco beats and modern dance moves brought this show to life on Belmont University’s Massey stage.
Junior Recital - January 2024
As a part of Belmont’s Musical theatre program, students are required to perform a solo, 30 minute recital in the spring of their Junior year.
In this recital, Maryn was accompanied by Mely Berdion, Chris Smallwood, and Dylan Pearson.
Maryn is so glad to be a part of this classic musical! Performed on Belmont’s Troutt stage, audiences were immersed in the magical world of Dolly Levi! The soaring melodies and charming dance moves made Hello, Dolly! one of Maryn’s favorite experiences at Belmont University!

Maryn is over the moon to be playing Mrs. Potts in the classic Disney musical, Beauty & The Beast. Being the first show she ever saw on stage, this process has been so special and full circle!
